Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt are brilliant actors, who have charmed us with their crackling chemistry in films like ‘Student of the Year’ (2012) and ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ (2014). To cash on their immense popularity among the masses, the duo is all set to spell the magic of their terrific chemistry once again in the forthcoming film ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’. The romantic comedy film is a sequel to the super hit film, ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ (2014) which released three years ago to rip-roaring success at the box office.

The trailer of the much awaited movie has already been released, which has taken the internet by storm. From classes to masses, everyone is raving about it on social media. The music of the romantic comedy flick has also gained popularity among the listeners in no time. ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ is expected to open to massive occupancy upon its release on March 7.

In this new outing of Varun and Alia, the audience will get to experience desi romance as the leading pair plays a couple who belongs to UP and mouths dialogues in the local dialect. Varun plays Badrinath Bansal who is head over heels in love with Vaidehi Trivedi, a character played by Alia. While Badri desires to get married to Vaidehi and wants nothing but love in return, Vaidehi has an altogether different take on love. Along with love, she wants dignity also. Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the film is produced by Karan Johar under his film production company, Dharma Productions. Besides Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt, Gauhar Khan and Girish Karnad also feature in supporting roles in the movie.
